RETIREMENT
When a particular collectible will no longer be available, it is considered to be "Retired." If the collectible is a sculpture, the molds are broken to ensure that it can never be produced again.

SECONDARY MARKET
Once a collectible has been sold out from retailers or an edition has been sold out or ceased being produced by a manufacturer, it remains in the hands of the collectors who originally purchased them when available. The various avenues in which these collectors can sell these items is the secondary market. They may include online and offline stores, classifieds, or auctions.

SERICEL
A cel on which the image is silk-screened onto acetate, applying each color separately. These editions are produced from a number of hand-cut master screens and are prepared from original artwork. Sericels are sometimes signed by the artist and/or have lithographic backgrounds and are usually in editions of 2500 to 9500.

SERIGRAPH
A silk-screen process similar to the sericel proccess, but printed on paper or canvas. Edition sizes can be as low as 25 or as high as 25,000+.

TIME LIMITED EDITION
When a collectible is limited in number to those sold or produced during a set period of time.
